With the kitchen opened up and feeling more inviting, Scott moved on to get drywall installed and paint completed on the Washington Township kitchen project. The next major phase of the remodel was the installation of the cabinets.
Our clients chose the Omega Dynasty Manor door style made of Quartersawn Oak with a butternut finish. The cabinets are an arts-and-crafts style that fit their tastes perfectly.
Scott installed a cabinet in a corner of the kitchen specifically designed for the microwave. Our client wanted to have their microwave off the countertop to maximize countertop space. Getting the microwave cabinet elevated was a major element for the new layout.
The java bar cabinetry is in and looking great. The upper cabinets will have glass front doors and be the main display of our client’s collection of Starbucks city mugs that they treasure. This area is going to be a great look and unique component of their kitchen.
You can see the main preparation wall all coming together. The corner cabinet is where the microwave will slide in. The new range and hood will be installed in the open spaces on the right side of the picture. There will be plenty of preparation room for our client to bake all of her tasty breads and treats!
Scott had the countertop measured and templated so the granite will be getting fabricated over the next few weeks. The new tile flooring will be installed and Scott will be completing the finish carpentry work. Plenty of new transforming additions are coming to this kitchen, make sure to keep coming back for more updates!
