We are devastated to announce the passing of one of the most talented, hard-working men we’ve had the privilege to employ, Chad E. Snow. He tragically lost his battle to cancer in April.
Chad began his 24-year career with Remodeling Designs, Inc. in early 2001 as a Lead Carpenter. Over the course of those years, he worked on projects that ranged from small, handyman-type projects, all the way through large, complicated additions that took 9-months or more.
He was truly a craftsman of all trades.
He could frame a house (and did, by himself), perform minor electric and plumbing work, hang and finish drywall, paint, hang cabinetry, and had the most spectacular finish carpentry skills you’ve ever seen.
Chad was a problem solver.
He never came to us with a “problem” on a job. He would figure out a few solutions and present them to the homeowner. He had the same mentality about skills. If he didn’t know how to do something, he’d figure it out and learn. He was one of the most schedule-driven carpenters we’ve ever had, and he did it with the utmost integrity.
He would always do the right thing for a client.
Chad was an excellent communicator with his clients. He always let his clients know what was happening on the job and what they could expect the following day.
And best of all, he’d follow through with his word. He’d listen to their concerns and execute their wishes until they were happy. He was extremely detailed and wouldn’t stop until both he and his clients were happy with his work.
When Chad was not working, he could usually be found outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, and cooking. He loved spending time with his friends and family, but no one was more important to him than his daughter, Ava.
Chad touched many lives throughout his career. He helped clients to age in place to make their homes safer, he became their friend and trusted expert in his field and he helped build clients the home of their dreams.
