This recipe comes to us from Mark’s Bar! He’s quite good at developing and perfecting cocktails and this one is a friends and family favorite!
Ingredients
- Double Shot of Espresso
- 1.5 Parts Pinnacle Whipped Vodka (Trust me on this!)
- 1.5 Parts Kahlua
- 1 Part Bailey’s
- Dessert topping sauce of choice: Caramel, Chocolate, etc.
(I love Torani’s Caramel)
The key to a good Espresso Martini is the espresso. I pull my espresso shot immediately and begin to cool it by placing the mug in a bowl surrounded by ice or in the fridge/freezer. It helps to make sure the cocktail doesn’t get watered down. I also like to chill the martini glass with water and ice while I make the cocktail, so the glass is nice and cold. Add ingredients to your shaker. Add ice. Shake for 30-40 seconds. Dump the water/ice out of your chilled martini glass. Decorate the martini glass with the dessert topping and then strain the cocktail into the glass. Feel free to add more caramel/chocolate drizzle on top if you prefer.
Sip and enjoy!
You can also make this in batches for a crowd. Keep the proportions the same. Pull all your espresso shots first and begin to cool.
