A legacy of quality, craftsmanship, and superior service

Beavercreek Kitchen – Countertop

Now, I have to start this post with a huge disclaimer, as I always do when I post pictures of granite.  My little camera and photography skills can’t do this stone justice.  I will never be able to make it look as beautiful in a photo as it does in person.  Never-the-less, I present to you, River Bordeaux.

Here is a look at the island long ways, and then from the opposite end.

This is such a unique piece of granite with so much movement and color.  The red you see pulls in the color of the laundry room and the cream color really ties in the paint in the kitchen.  The two pictures below are from the same slab.  The cook top is cutout between the two sides.

The island is so long, it took me four pictures to get a close up of all of it.  The view is from left to right.  Our clients chose to put an Ogee edge on the island to dress it up and make it the fancy kitchen that it is.

Here is a look at the granite around the stainless steel sink.  Brian has also started the travertine backsplash tile.

Brian has also made some headway applying the cabinet drawer and door pulls.  Our clients chose Amerock Essentials’z in a Satin Nickel finish.

The next item on Brian’s list is trim carpentry.  Crown molding, baseboard, door casing, and furniture base all have to be accomplished before this kitchen is finished.  Stay tuned to see the final product!
