First, you’ll get the chance to talk on the phone with our First Impressions Coordinator where we will both determine if we are a fit for each other. We’ll do a deep dive into your vision to make sure that we “get it” and discuss budget, vision, and schedule, as well as roles and expectations throughout the process. We want to make sure that you understand our process and that our approach is the right fit for your project.  

Once we have established that we are a good fit, we will do a home visit to gather additional information about you, your home, and your project so that we can deliver the best possible return on enjoyment for you and your home. During this visit we will provide an initial budget range for your project and if this is approved we will enter into a Design Agreement for 5% of the overall investment. If your project progresses from the Design Agreement to a Construction Agreement, the investment made for the Design Agreement is applied to the final cost.

It’s time to start bringing your vision to life. As a design-build remodeling contractor, we put just as much value on the front end of the process, the design, as we do on the actual building of your project. When time and effort are put into design, you will save time and money overall. The Design Agreement is an integral step in the overall remodeling process. After signing a Design Agreement, our designer will develop 2-4 different designs in our CAD system that we will review with you. You will be able to select the elements that you like from each design to create your finished project design. 

Once designs are reviewed and approved, your designer will help you make product and material selections. Remodeling Designs has a 2,000+ sq. ft. showroom where we can strategically walk you through the selection process! The showroom is loaded with design ideas, varying products, textures, and colors to help with your selections.

As we approach project takeoff, we will schedule a site visit with our designer, sales team, project manager, and trade partners who will work on the project. This is an opportunity for everyone who will be working on your project to get eyes on the space, provide feedback, and make plans for bringing your project to life. From your standpoint, this is a great opportunity to meet the skilled team who will be in your home. At Remodeling Designs, we never forget who is at the center of every project. You! Your comfort with the process is our top priority. 

Now that you have met the team and the team has had a chance to strategize about your project, we will deliver a preliminary proposal to review together. This will include a Scope of Work, investment estimate, materials options, and more. We use this step to iron out all the details before you are presented with a Construction Agreement.

It’s project go time. Since you have selected to move forward with Remodeling Designs to complete your project, we will deliver a Construction Agreement based on the designs you discussed in the Design phase, product and materials selections you made with our designer, and the final budget outline. At this step you will also have a detailed and finalized Scope of Work that outlines the remainder of your project as well as a production calendar.

This meeting will involve you, our Sales team, your Designer, Production manager, and Project Manager. In this meeting we will review your project details in depth and will go step-by-step through the Scope of Work found in your Construction Agreement. Have you ever heard of measure twice, order once? This meeting is our assurance to you that your project is in the best hands.
