West Chester Kitchen – Back Splash Tile and Mantle

This West Chester kitchen is really turning out to be a really beautiful project!  Brian has completed the crown molding, back splash tile and the mantle over the fireplace.  Take a look below to see how the crown molding really gives this space a whole new dimension!

As you can see and as we discussed in previous blogs, our clients and Beth chose the crown molding stain to blend more with the floor and existing wood work rather than the cabinets.  It gives it a great accent color and pop to the room.  The stain color they chose is called cinnamon, which is a little darker than the cabinets, and is applied to alder wood.

The back splash tile they chose is tumbled marble with a liner bar and Sonoma Tantrum 1″ x 1″ Glass Tiles in the colors Burnt Amber and Adobe as accents.  They are place randomly behind the cook top and in a straight line above the liner bar everywhere else in the kitchen.

The light fixture in the eat-in area has been installed but pulled up to the ceiling until Brian is done working and bringing tools in and out of the area.  The laundry door has also been installed and just looks gorgeous!  You’re not going to find this in many other houses.

The fireplace mantle has been installed and also looks fabulous.  The speakers on either side and beneath the bracket are in and ready for use.  Now all we need is a big, flat screen TV!

Carpet is the next and final item to be installed in this project.  After that, Brian will have some clean up and last minute punch list items to do.  Check back next week to see the floor protector removed and the final project revealed!
